"Medical Students Online - Threat to Professionalism or Window into the Profession?"
First Published 10/27/2009

You are cordially invited to attend the next IMH Brown Bag, which will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., in 2.268 Primary Care Pavilion (PCP).

Please note the change in day—fourth Monday rather than the usual fourth Tuesday of the month.

Ryan Greysen, M.D., M.A., will give a presentation titled Medical Students Online - Threat to Professionalism or Window into the Profession?  Dr. Greysen is currently a Research Scholar in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Greysen (formerly Gregory) received his Master's degree from the IMH in 2001.  In 2003, he earned a Master of Arts degree in history and sociology of medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.  He then came back to UTMB and earned his M.D. degree  After completing his residency in primary care internal medicine at the George Washington University, he joined the faculty as a hospitalist at the Washington VAMC and researcher in the Department of Health Policy.  Dr. Greysen’s research interests focus on intersections of health policy and medical education including quality improvement, disparities in care, workforce expansion, medical student debt, diversity, and primary care.

For non-IMH guests who will be attending this presentation, please contact me for a visitor parking pass or simply print this message and put it in the dashboard of your car so that security can clearly see that you are a guest of the IMH.  You will enter the glass doors at Entrance A, take the elevator up to the second floor.  Enter the door marked "Family Medicine" located directly across from the elevator.  2.268 PCP will be about halfway down that long hallway on your left.  Door numbers are at the very top of the doors.
